The Onomo Hotel Kigali is above all,  a work of Landscape, Land Art. As part of Onomo’s development in Central Africa, a magnificent piece of land was acquired in the Nyarugenge district, just a few minutes from the city center and 9 km from the international airport with an exclusive view of the Kiyovu valley. MAAC's proposal positions the hotel as a leading player in the Kigali skyline. The building comes as a white screen, enriched with traditional “imigongo” motifs, interacting with the Kiovu valley.

This emergence contrasts with the base of the building which takes advantage of the strong variation of the land to develop the reception program and the hotel's common areas in terraces defined and contained by walls with traditional equipment. The hotel has 109 modern and comfortable rooms, including 10 suites and 3 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people, a restaurant overlooking the terrace and an infinity pool overlooking the Kiovu Valley.

The hotel lobby - illustrating the unique concept of Urban Village - is designed as a multifaceted African urban village, which distributes the various places of life and activities including the restaurant, bar, terrace, business corner and access to the rooms.
